Yes, but in order to have the ability to use our Voice Service, you will be required to purchase a Data Plan with your Voice Minute Plan purchase. In addition, Voice Minute Plans do require a data connection in order to properly function. We recommend using either your eSIM data plan or a stable Wi-Fi connection while using the Voice Service. Please make sure to disable your SIM from your primary carrier, in order to avoid any additional roaming charges.

Which eSIM should i use for Japan?

Whether or not you should purchase a single country eSIM for Japan only or a regional eSIM for both Japan and the surrounding region, depends entirely on your trip requirements. If you plan on visiting Japan only then a single country eSIM will be sufficient, while a regional eSIM will be required if you plan on visiting both Japan and the surrounding region.

How do i set up an eSIM for Japan?

Upon purchase you will receive a confirmation e-mail containing simple user friendly installation and activation instructions. You will have the option of either scanning the QR code provided or installing your eSIM manually. Once installed and activated, please make sure your eSIM line is active and your ‘Data Roaming’ set to on (Please make sure to deactivate your primary SIM in order to avoid any roaming charges from your primary carrier).

How do i activate an eSIM for Japan on my iPhone?
