Are eSIMs available for the UK?
We offer both single country plans that will work in the UK only, or regional Europe plans that will also work in the UK if you plan on visiting other countries in Europe during your trip. In addition we also offer several Data Plan options ranging from 1GB to 20GBs. You can also purchase a Voice Minute Plan in addition to your Data Plan if you require the ability to make and receive calls.
Yes, but in order to use the Data and Voice Service outside of the UK, you will require an eSIM Data Plan that covers the country you are located in while outside of the UK. If you are travelling to both the UK and France for example, you will require a regional Europe eSIM in order to use your Data and Voice Plans in both France and the UK.
In order to buy an eSIM for the UK, you will first need to determine whether you require a single country plan for the UK only, or a regional eSIM in case you plan on going to other European countries in addition to the UK. For a list of available single country or regional plans for the UK, simply type in ‘United Kingdom’ in the search bar and select your desired plan.
Since you may not have internet or a secondary device in order to scan your QR code while traveling, we always recommend installling your eSIM prior to your trip. Please be aware that though you will be able to install your eSIM before your trip begins, your data connection will not be functional if the country you are located in is not covered under your data plan.
