AndraGibraltar is a small place with a lot packed in: the cable car up the Rock, the macaques of the Upper Rock nature reserve, St Michael’s Cave, Main Street’s shops and the cafés of Ocean Village marina. Many visitors walk across from La Linea for the day or fly into the airport. Home roaming bundles often treat the territory as an exception, and SIM shops are not what you came for. Validity follows the size: 1GB for 7 days, 2GB for 10 days, 3GB for 14 days, 5GB for 21 days, and 10GB, 15GB and 20GB for 30 days. A day trip or a weekend with maps, photos and a few messages is comfortably covered by 1GB or 2GB. A week of sightseeing with video calls and photo backups is better on 3GB or 5GB. A longer stay for work, a sailing trip based at the marina or a family sharing a hotspot should look at 10GB, 15GB or 20GB. Validity starts only when the device first connects to a supported network in Gibraltar, so installing before you travel costs nothing.
The territory is walkable, and a live map is the easiest way to find the cable car station and the reserve entrances. Buses and taxis cover the rest, and card payments are accepted almost everywhere, with a small amount of cash useful for kiosks. Border queues vary, so check the crossing status before heading back to Spain. Café and hotel Wi-Fi is easy to find, but not on the Rock or the beaches, so keep the eSIM as your main line. The plan covers Gibraltar only; for the Spanish side of your trip, arrange a separate connection.
