  1. Scan the QR code received by email and install your new eSIM line.
  2. Make sure your device is not on Airplane mode.
  3. If you installed the eSIM in addition to your main line, make sure to set “celluar date” to be used from your GlobaleSIM line.
  4. On the device settings, make sure date roaming is ON.

REFUND / CANCELLATION / MODIFICATION POLICY

Customer has the right to ask for a refund in the following cases.

  • The eSIM QR code cannot be scanned and/or installed
  • The eSIM cannot connect to network due to a technical issue with the local network
  • The eSIM cannot provide Voice/Data service according to the customer plan

A refund will be issued ONLY after at least 48 hours, where:

  • Within the 48 hours, the customer contacted GlobaleSIM by email ([email protected]) and reported the issue. A reference to the eSIM account (eSIM code, order ID, or personal information) should be mentioned.
  • GlobaleSIM had the necessary time to check, investigate and find a solution for the customer within this period
  • GlobaleSIM did not find a proper solution for the customer to use the service, then a refund / partial refund will be issued upon GlobaleSIM decision

A refund will NOT be issued in case of:

  • The issue is due to lack of coverage where the customer is located
  • The customer deleted his eSIM line from his device
  • The customer switched to a new device and needed a new eSIM QR code (a new order needs to be made)
  • The customer did not reply to GlobaleSIM Technical team during issue investigation / did not report the issue in a timely manner

What is the best eSIM plan for Australia?
The best eSIM plan for Australia will depend on your specific trip requirements and considerations. For example, a Single Country eSIM plan would be the best choice if you are only planning on visiting Australia, while a Regional eSIM plan would be recommended if you intend on visiting Australia as well as the surrounding region. You will also need to determine the amount of data required based on the duration of your stay.

If you intend on visiting Australia in addition to the surrounding region, then a Regional eSIM plan would be a better option. The short answer is yes. In order to purchase an eSIM plan that will work while in Australia, simply type in the word ‘Australia’ in the search bar. You will need to choose between a Single Country eSIM plan for Australia only, or a Regional eSIM plan that includes both Australia and the surrounding region. You will also need to determine the amount of data required based on the duration of your stay.
Upon purchase, you’ll receive an informational email containing installation and activation instructions. Please follow the installation and activation instructions in order to successfully activate your eSIM data plan while in Australia. You can either scan the QR code provided in the specified instructional email, or alternatively follow the manual installation instructions provided in the same specified instructional email. Please remember to keep your eSIM line active, while deactivating your primary SIM line in order to avoid any unnecessary roaming charges from your primary carrier.
We never recommend using your primary SIM while traveling abroad, as the resulting roaming charges from your primary SIM carrier may be exhorbitant. Since eSIM plans are prepaid plans, you will not only be aware of the total cost of your usage in advance, but you will also be able to avoid any unnecessary roaming charges from your primary SIM carrier. It is also very important to make sure that your primary SIM line is turned off, and your eSIM line turned on while abroad.
